I certainly don't deny what you said about it having an impact on society-supporting behaviors, just as in some cases in has worked just the opposite. But, again, that was not point at all. I was speaking directly to whether they have fulfilled one of their most important roles, according to the generally accepted teachings of their founders, to care for those in need. If that deserves another caution, then I'm not sure I read the "rules" for this site correctly. I think a lot of folks give opinions here, about government, society, business, etc. Maybe I'm out of step in trying to be educational, or at least giving us all something worth thinking about. I've seen some pretty strong language and distasteful comments that seemed to go through as just fine. What's up? Am I getting special attention from the mods now? I do try to be very careful; speak about ways to heal issues all the time, try to find common ground with others, and ask others to think about solutions to our issues, etc. And, I'll continue to do that. In the future, I'd really appreciate it if you would address issues you have with my posts in private emails to me, and not publicly on the threads. And, it would be nice if you would unblock your own site, so folks would, at least, have an opportunity to respond, if nothing more than to say thank you, directly. One-way communication is not fair, or effective. It never worked for me in any other setting when it was with one other person, and i don't think it works here either. It's like, "I'm giving you a direct order, but you cannot speak back.' Is this the military? Or, are we a group of folks trying to be well informed, and sharing ideas together to solve current goals for ourselves, by hearing the ideas of others?
