Dan, could you or Mike check to see if any rigs are available. Use my postings 495, 496,497 to obtain phone numbers for drillers. Please post your findings here. Could you and Mike Hodge also find out what the actual cost of drilling a well in the Taranaki Basin is? My understanding is that it is about $1.5 million per hole. I believe that this was the cost of the original drilling last November. Someone should call Fletcher Challenge Energy and find out what the costs of their recent drillings in the Taranaki were.

Todays news would support the joint venture that we may all have been hoping for, Fletcher isn't not a bad choice. The new permit gives them a lot more land. They may find it somewhat easier to find driller for that type of drilling. I understand that the DEEP hole drillers are fewer in number. Hope this is a go for Indo.
