It is the rule of Nature without conscience--as practiced by all ideologues since the beginning of time. Hitler did it, Stalin did it, and Mao. The One True Church did it and wishes to do it again. You must become intolerant to all freedom--especially freedom of religion, because other IDEOLOGIES (which are always right by might because they are...well--Absolutely RIGHT!) are the greatest threat to your continued dominance and power--your very survival. They are therefore your greatest fear. The family/tribal instincts of people are expressed (in our lower orders) in the continuing search (or the continuing membership), in an ideological grouping which gives them elite status and superiority over other families/tribes. It is difficult to determine how much longer these lower orders of humanity will persist. Instinct, force, and faith (supernatural "Right") are at war with Reason. In the end reason (reality) will win...or it will be destroyed by numbers and genocidal force. And then the greg or ees of the world will go from impotence to positions of authority and power--just as they did when the One True Church first took over and started her reign of centuries of fear and torture. Very good list of those centuries of force aginst human rights and freedoms, btw. Everyone should read your post thoguhtfully.
