Very desperate and misleading! They <AMD> need 100% more SDRAM and 100% more video muscle to get a 25% performance boost over Intel on a benchmark that measures overall system application performance.

Joey.....re K6/233 vs PII/233. A Ferrarri will beat a Honda Accord or Ford Tarus... Doesn't say which one stays out of the shop more. Which one has the larger market share? Who can deliver the goods in volume? Which one blows the other away doing my Excel spreadsheets or commuting to and from work? (oh? are they about the same?) btw, shouldn't they have the same memory and save video card to be a true test? Seems fixed to me. If true, AMD just lost much in my eyes. Bottow line is AMD has to come through with MORE than just SPEED and or just a bit of cost. I'll pay more for reliability. just my opinion.... suite101.com Kirk out
