re the market, the macro expression ought to be gold but for possibility of officialdom-sanctioned intervention or nudging-here-n-there, between directionless market and definitive guidance, and the waiting, much mistakes can be made on just about every front

am thinking best to do nothing at the moment and for once put faith in the calendar 'effect' of may - october

i do not do well on day to day / week to week trades

i do better whenever offered a three months window of opportunity

given the rising amplitude and increasing frequency, the once-every-three-months trades invariably involve psychologically damaging down-rush, even as the up-cycle may not reward enough

interesting game the challenge of which best left to those better at it and the algo trading machines which do not easily get tired

at some point the pension managers shall get frantic, and retail investors may go completely absent.

am wondering if domestic retail investors are still active in japanese market.

In a crunch, gold can be outperformed by any number of assets as prospective buyers simoly step out of the way of sellers
The crunch state can also happen to any number of other assets.

All very ... very ... loss for words
