At 2% of portfolio, FTR is one of my biggest equity positions. Portfolio is less than 20% equities. SVU is another dog that I own, whose % in the pf may increase, depending on earnings tomorrow. I see them both as potential turnaround situations and way oversold. In FTR's case you get paid very well to wait. In SVU's case the dividend should not be in jeopardy, but anything is possible given the low stock price -- management may decide to cut the dividend and use the savings to increase their store competitiveness.
