OT: <I have a shredder, but us country folk lean toward the old burn barrel.>

Yes, I grew up on a farm... in addition to the burning (I can still smell it), of course it also meant our own dump in a hidden corner of the farm and fighting with the sibblings over who had to cart the non-burnable trash out there behind a little Super B and dump it - no matter how much practice, always had to end up clearing by hand though you can bet we tried hard to "dump" using just the tractor... our farm was not large in acreage (about 600), but it spanned two states (the OH/IN state line was our 1/2 mile gravel drive dividing the farm in two) and 3 counties. Aside from eating very well, the thing I miss most was just opening the door and letting the dogs out vs. living in the burbs now where I think it is borderline cruel to own certain breeds larger than a loaf of bread.
