Watch TSM for an indication of hardware demand. Push outs for this chip fab company would indicate a lack of perceive demand from end customers. Considering that fab capacity is at a premium for higher density technologies, most companies would not be looking to lose their production window as it may be months before there is another break in the schedule to get additional stock. Companies have to be seeing extreme stress to cancel and order with TSM.
