PSDI Announces Release of MAXIMO For Oracle8
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- PSDI, (Nasdaq: PSDI - news), a leading provider of maintenance management systems, today announced that its flagship product, MAXIMO, supports the latest version of Oracle Corporation's Database for Network Computing(TM), Oracle8(TM). Oracle8 allows for increased ease of use, increased levels of scalability and manageability, and object relational functionality. PSDI's enterprise customers now have a head start in the process of upgrading maintenance systems to the new database.

''We are pleased PSDI can now offer our mutual customers support for Oracle8,'' said Marc Hebert, vice president of Design and Migration Services at Oracle. ''MAXIMO delivers the robust functionality and flexibility mandated by large organizations with mission-critical operations.''

MAXIMO for Oracle8 allows users to manage large amounts of information securely, reliably, and economically over computer networks. As an Oracle Cooperative Application Initiative partner, PSDI provides MAXIMO users with the ability to take advantage of the several performance and scalability enhancements. As organizations rely more heavily on maintenance systems to capture data for analysis and future planning, MAXIMO users will benefit from the ability of Oracle8 to support up to 100 terabytes of data.
