but...but the candyman was just on tv telling the zombie college students he will pay their tuition if they take the money from millionaires. He even made an example of how much he could give away from the money he can take with just raising that one millionaires taxes. Friggin amazing. I guess the college students don't plan on earning money after they leave school. lol

This is an apples and oranges comparision. Americas debt is comprised of public debt which is about 11 trill. and debt to SS and other agencies which is not public debt. European debt is all public debt. Public to public debt is the correct comparison. Still bad though although the GDP of EU and US are about the same.
