I hear what you're saying, and it's not without merit.

But the reality is that for a good solid decade there, Jobs *did* actually blow our minds, repeatedly.

iPod, iPhones and iPads didn't blow anyone's minds... initially...

In fact most people thought they were rather boring.

iPod - there are already lots of portable digital players

iPhone - Apple will never sell that many, too expensive

iPad - been done before and not succeeded. Boring.

iScreen - done before old technology

iTransporter - done before on Star Trek - old tech boring
