It's hard to say who instigated what in the case of Trayvon Martin.

But I do agree with Bill Cosby in that the gun probably made Zimmerman more bold than he should have been.

As for the hoodie thing, that's stupid. A white guy, a Hispanic guy, an Asian guy in a hoodie will draw suspicion no matter what. It's not just blacks.

On the other hand, I feel for blacks who can't walk down a neighborhood without drawing suspicious looks. Or drive through a nice neighborhood without getting pulled over by cops who just want to give them a hard time.
