I made a point several months ago about institutions owning the stock that probably bears repeating. Assuming Capital Guardian bought at an average price of $8, their 12% of the company would amount to about .01% of their total assets. That's 1/100th of 1 percent. Even if the price of IPM went to $0, they would hardly notice. If they are not selling, it may only be because they see no point in it. No big deal for them to wait around and see what happens.

What seems abundantly clear is that the institutions have not stepped in to support the stock. Not much of a vote of confidence.

Kim,

Approx. 35%, & yes your right they dumped perhaps 2 mill. shs prior to pr. Will be interesting to see next info on institutional holdings as well as terms of 10 mill financing & if control has changed. Nice to watch from the sidelines and not lose anymore$$$. The pr removed any & all old fundamental reasons for holding.
