OT

Hey - we're kindred spirits!

You should be when I lecture - especially all those poor foreign students that barely know English writing down every nonsense I spout, and then they go home and try to figure out what fuzzy wuzzys have to do with forbidden degenerate transitions in nuclear subshells!

No no I don't do that to my students or audience.

At least not for quite a while.

Okay, no, I really don't, when I joke in a serious setting I always provide a disclaimer so the veracity of which I speak is obvious.

Or provide a smiley. :-)

Like right now :-) :-) :-)

OT: Peter Bergman, Satirist at Firesign Theater, Dies at 72 - NYTimes.com

Rest easy Peter.

Nobody ever made me laugh over and over again, like you did, when I first discovered your treasures, at 17. You completely, absolutely changed me, in every way. I would not be who I am today, without you. Thanks, forever!!

You are now in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all.
