Iggyl, all big businesses are playing monopoly. It is the natural product of trying to succeed. When a business gets too good at it, the government steps it. Happened with MS; happened with Google. Apple is also about to get some anti-trust troubles; they are likely to see a suit from DOJ next week. It has been postulated this will mark the start of a major period of stagnation.
