Not at all! It is that they certainly are not experts in all aspects of a project and they will use specs that are not reasonable nor do anything extra for a project. I see that with crushed materials and will advise and then they will add an alternate to the project because a book design is not the best design for an area. This reduces the cost on the project and equals or out performs the original design...materials change and how can they know everything sitting at a desk?
