Richard, I also bought a Micron. I received my XKU 266 in three days! That's not bad considering I am 5 thousand miles from IDAHO! This thing flies! Also, I was so pleased with my purchase, I wrote a letter to the CEO. In turn, I received a personal letter from customer relations and another from the Special Assistant to the President! Also they sent me a MICRON shirt! These guys are definately here to stay and looking to do a lot of business. People who slam this company either need to try them out as a supplier or get out of the market. I am a satisfied customer who 1. Bought a Micron 2. tested the management. My stock is also down 5 dollars a share, but they won my confidence and I bought more today. I am sticking to this philosophy, the NASDAQ dealer is showing a 6 and I have 2 kings with this company. There's a ten comin, I just hope nobody hits it! I hate when people play 21 instead of dealer bust. It would be so easy for them to get rid of excess inventory this month, I just laugh at the great timing to have excess. It's not like Christmas is coming or something! Good luck to all! P.S. I bet all the shorts for the tax selloff occurred last week! Talk about over reaction, the news said that sales were up from last year and margins were lower due to price preasures. They are going to have a lower NET than they anticipated. They said nothing about a loss. The stock market reacted like they were going to lose money. I will look back at this in 3 months and laugh......But, ya never know....Goooooo MICRON! Eric

Richard, which model?
Your observations are in-line with most of our experience with Micon's product, sales, and service. Once you have one of their PCs, you're converted. Then you think... I want a piece of this company [but not if you're going to lose money].

To all: just received new adverstising/catalog from Micron; nicely done. And I'm thinking "I hope your sending this to more than just your current customer.... it (or a subset) needs to be in the Sunday papers". Did anyone see Apple's recent ad/insert in the last couple of weeks. That was very well done. MEUI needs something similar for BROAD DISTRIBUTION.
