If he goes to prison he will have to be in protective custody for quite some time. If released to general population he would have to join a very strong gang for protection and he could still be killed. He didn't seem like the aggressive type at all.

If i were George Zimmerman, I might be thinking along the lines that the outcome of events has become a fait accompli. This is no longer about the events on the day that Trayvon Martin was killed. This is now a political cause. I think we are all thinking that riots are a probable outcome if Zimmerman is acquitted. And now AG Holder is going to look into this. George is probably thinking along the lines of "at best I am going to be the sacrificial lamb to stave off the riots at worst they are going to come after me as a racist murderer of children".

There aren't many places George can run to, but I bet he is thinking along those lines. He isn't going to get a fair trial. His fate is sealed if he goes the legal route.

Let's look at what the UN Human Rights Chief has to say about this:
Of the Trayvon Martin case, Pillay said, “I will be awaiting an investigation and prosecution and trial and of course reparations for the victims concerned.”

It seems to me that Mz Pillay should wait for the outcome of the trial before deciding what the outcome of the trial is and that there should be reparations.

He never had lawyers...those clowns just said they were his lawyers and started holding press conferences..they admit that they have NEVER MET HIM..they should be disbarred or at the least sued for malpractice..

"Geragos and Baez had criticized the attorney’s press conference last night on CNN’s AC360. “This may be the height of chutzpah for criminal defense lawyers to say we haven’t talked to our clients for two days so therefore we’re withdrawing,” Geragos told Anderson Cooper. “By the way there’s no court case filed, so there’s nothing to withdraw from, number one. Number two, who are you to be diagnosing your client’s mental state when you haven’t talked to him? This is completely inexplicable, and I thought I was watching a Saturday Night Live skit.”

They also set up a website where THEY would get the money, and then George set up his own website and canned them...
