I heard a news story on NPR the other day that talked about Texas wanting to use computers to replace textbooks. They didn't talk about NCs explicitly, but these devices seem ideal for such a situation. All sorts of advantages when it comes to customizing/updating content. I thought this would be great for oracle. I think also that you're right to imply that the nc ad is not being pitched to individual consumers but to policy makers (and the parents who'll have to back school board decisions on this stuff). Oracle couldn't be luckier than to have Clinton/Gore in office right now. They seem relatively techno-savvy and willing to throw money at education. I think this is an area where the NC could be potentially huge.
