The volume on the downside picked up heavily in OAKT, DELL , and COMPAQ in the very last minutes of trading. All I can figure is that there is anticipation of a huge decay in the PC business -- many opinions are out there. For example, it's also possible that with unit-volume increases due to sub-1000 PCs, there is an improved the outlook for OAKT...but this would seem to differ from "popular" opinion. It's not what actually is going on that is important in some cases, it is popular opinion...

virgil, I hate you because what you said is exactly what I think. This is why I refused to average down in last couple weeks (but I believe 7.x is the bottom, not much reason for OAKT to trade less than SIII at this moment). The only way to turn OAKT's price around now is some big positive annoucement from the company.
