Wasn't it Neil Shubin in the must read Your Inner Fish who pointed out in the evolution of humans from fish one thing remained constant; the anus was on one end, and the intakes on the other end.

Clearly, Sowell, like Limbaugh and others of that ilk, have turned this evolution upside down, where the pooper and the intake are merging together. This is a significant mutation.
