Thanks for the thoughts. Seems like many have given up on GMXR (and for some good reasons, they were primarily a natural gas producer with a lot of debt and that spells disaster, but they have taken significant steps to reposition to being an oil producer). You have the cusip id for those bonds with 49% YTM. I'd take some of that. A51

Thanks for the heads up on their bonds. I closed out my losing equity position today but still have a few of their prefered shares (GMXRpA). I bought some at $7.50 and another lot at $19.00, so my average cost is ok.

I do think there are better E&P's today to speculate in. GMXR was one of my 16 E&P companies in my basket. I now have trimmed those positions to the top 8. GMXR did not make it.
