She is trying to smear on behalf of the Dems, or at least she thinks she is. She is very angry. Such a biased person should not be in a newsroom. Or be a commentator without informing the audience what she represents.

Ann Romney does well with the public. Although this attempt failed, Rosen and liberals like her will continue trying to hurt Ann's public image as a backdoor assault on the Romney campaign. Ann's domestic status was just a failed angle Rosen used.
