Don't bet on it, winger. His calls to the police may convict him even if the kid did beat the hell out of him. At that point, I would have shot him too but face it, he was pushing it too hard. The good people of Florida MAY be forced to convict him just because of pressure from obama and his black pantsers party. By and large, same as the Texas castle law, the stand your ground law is to protect your own family and property regardless of where you are. It is a good law.

That's always been true. Self-defense is a long time basic right and doesn't depend on any stand your ground law. You know this, it's why you own a sawed off shotgun rigged on a string to carry under your coat. That's dumb btw, even in a self-defense situation, you'd have a weapons charge.
