When i saw that luxury Mormon baptism tub on CNN, as gilded as anything you would find in the Las Vegas Sands in Macau, not to mention their "Crystal" meditation room which also looked like a luxury liner's foyer complete with world class heavenly crystal chandeliers....totally reminded of Robert Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land & Bishop "Digby" & the Fosterites " Lets Play Christian & Heaven Sect" , omg .

LIfe is very strange , stranger than strange ...Stranger in a Strange Land ...Heinlein nailed it .

This is their idea of heaven , surprised there weren't some hand held harps lying around or hanging from the walls at the ready , in case an angel were to show up or a little cherub or two sent from above .

Jesus never had it this good : (what great PR, some people will fall for this like a Tiffany's window display )

The baptismal font at the newest Mormon temple.

However, in Mormon doctrine, baptism is essential for salvation. While converts to the faith are baptized in services at local wards, the weekly meeting place for services open to the public, proxy baptisms take place only in the temple and in private.

The proxy baptisms are supposed to be for Mormons’ ancestors who were not of the faith. Walker said the baptism serves as an invitation to accept Mormonism as an avenue into heaven.
