There are many companies out there growing slower than DELL with a far higher P/E. 34.5 is not high for a company projected to grow between 30-40% next year. Not to mention that market leaders command a premium P/E. Cisco has traded at a P/E around 50 for years now, right around their growth rate.

It looks like nothing short of a total earnings blowout would have sent the stock higher after hours due to the Asia crisis. And when Japan's market dives tonight we'll probably be in worse shape tomorrow.

But if the tide turns and the market wants to go higher, DELL will lead the pack right through the 100 mark.
