LOL!! Must have been a "freudian slip" by Land Shark.. Maybe he was remembering his last encounter at a "tea bagger" party as the "receptacle".. ;0)

But, of course, the movement of the climate change crowd would never been guilty of "mob" mentality, now would they?

They certainly love to censor the opinions of those they disagree with...

When they can't stand the heat of an intellectual debate and defend their positions they "throw in the towel" by banning their opponents and cowering in their close minded "corner" sucking their thumbs..

Yes.. Land Shark is one of those who will willfully stifle any dissent to his vulnerable and intellectually flawed beliefs.

After all, he demanded I "prove" my opinion where I refuted one of the links he provided.. And in the same breadth prevented me from doing so by banning me from "The Environmental Thread"..

Then he aligns himself with the view that we need "clean energy" for the US economy to grow..

Message 28079973

This is a completely fallacious and illogical opinion, which I refuted in my response to him here, where I stated that what we need is CHEAP energy. Whether it is green or not is irrelevant:

So it's little surprise to see him disparage the political beliefs of a group of people who have joined together to voice their opinions. They are no more "controlled" than any other political party participating in our elections.

From my perspective, regardless of whether I concur with all the viewpoints of the Tea Party, I sympathize with their goals of cutting through the BS and returning our country to the control of the people, not the political and corporate elite who see them as pissants to be ignored and disparaged at every turn.
