Congrats to Bulba on moving into first place. Two stocks in the top 5 this week looked good [AMF.TO and IDRA].

And I see that this is the week I slid off the top ten list. Sic transit Gloria... [Uhh, what was Gloria's last name again?]

All the best,
graham

4/20/12 Contest Update
GSK’s hostile takeover bid for HGSI juiced the biotech sector but the broad market, as measured by the Nasdaq Composite Index, was unable to scratch out a gain for the week. At Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 17.44% YTD (vs. up 15.48% YTD a week ago). In comparison, the Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 16.78% YTD (vs. up 13.11% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 15.17% YTD (vs. up 15.59% YTD a week ago).
Remarkably, my own portfolio, up 50.95% YTD, remained in first place, with BIOJIM’s portfolio, up 49.59% YTD, holding on to second place and DON’s portfolio, up 39.59% YTD, still in third place.
At Friday's close, 3 of the 38 Contest portfolios were still in the red and 21 of the 38 portfolios were beating the NBI.
Below is the Top Ten list. Also below are the Top 5 & Bottom 5 Stocks ranked by % Gained and % Lost for the week.
(Foreign stock prices are not converted to US$ in the weekly and YTD Top 5 & Bottom 5 tables, when posted.)
Portfolio adjustments: None.
Have a terrific weekend biotechies!
(All corrections, especially adjustments for splits, greatly appreciated.)
