You ought to drop the shovel! You are making a complete ass of yourself! The fact that I do not have a link to the entire speech changes nothing, does it!? That requirement is a gratuitous requirement instituted by you because you got caught shooting off your mouth saying Huckabee did not favour a Christian Theocracy!! (Do you have a link to his entire speech where he says that, btw!!) ;-) I posted plenty to prove that he wanted to change the Constitution and make Government theocratic. So do you--but you are impotent! His Christian Group is not impotent (just IGNORANT!) but the American people got scared of his policies and he backed out. Anyone bright enough to seek the truth can click and read the links. Huckabee (like you) wants a theocracy as the bible claims it will be! Tough Titty, Kitty! Over my dead body!! Do you have any idea how you look to others when you manufacture these fake situations because you are too gutless to admit you shot your uninformed mouth off??

Apparently the American public (even the Repubs) got scared by the direction Huck and Sarah were heading! Another setback for Groggy!! Do Republicans want to turn America into a Christian theocracy? This is not a question that news anchors or political analysts have been asking (at least not in public), but maybe they should be. Republican leader Mike Huckabee has gone on record as saying that the Constitution of the United States of America should be amended to conform to the word of God. That sounds pretty straightforward to me. Huckabee wants to scrap the Constitutional guarantee of freedom of religion and replace it with the Biblical dictate that all Americans must keep the Sabbath holy and that all Americans cannot worship any god other than the god of the Christian Bible. This would of course make it a crime to not go to church on Sunday. It would also make it a crime to work on Sunday, and Americans who worship gods other than the Christian god would have to be arrested for breaking the law. And Huckabee is not alone in wanting to toss out the American freedoms enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. In a recent interview on Fox news, Republican leader Sarah Palin declared that American law should be based on the god of the Bible and the Ten Commandments. Again, there is no ambiguity to her statement. She thinks that it should be a crime to not attend church services on Sunday (even for atheists, Hindus and other non-Christians). And she thinks that it should be a crime to have sex with anybody other than your spouse. The Constitution was originally written to say, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." If the Republicans had their way, it would be re-written to say, "Congress shall make many laws establishing Christianity as the official religion of the United States of America and prohibiting the free exercise of Hinduism, Wicca, Islam and other heretical religions. Freedom of speech, or of the press shall be limited to prohibit the American people from taking the Lords name in vain or engaging in blasphemy. The right of people to assmble peacefully will also be limited to keep the people from engaging in anti-Christian activities or encouraging others to do so." And Huckabee and Palin are not some fringe candidates whose views are far outside the mainstream of the modern Republican Party. According to a CNN poll, Huckabee and Palin are the two front runners for the 2012 Republican nomination for President of the United States . Huckabee is the favorite of 34% of the Republicans polled. Palin is the favorite of 32% of the Republicans. Between them, Huckabee and Palin enjoy the support of 66% of the Republican party. And Huckabee and Palin are both in favor of trashing the freedoms enshrined in the U.S. Constitution and turning America into a Christian theocracy. Given Huckabee and Palin's agenda and given the overwhelming support they have among Republicans, how can anybody come to any other conclusion that the conclusion that the majority of Republicans today really do want to turn America into a Christian theocracy? discuss.epluribusmedia.net
