Here is the deal. We are being careful defending events with huge probabilities. But I do not beleive that is necessary. I think if you have any kind of water for any time at all, life will pop up because of the laws of quantum physics and quantum wave action. I think life is pervasive throughout the universe. And heck there are lots of intelligent animals on earth beside us. Dolphines, elephants, baboons, crows, parrots. Any of those could have evolved to be as smart as we, or even smarter than Einstein. Once you get to Einstein and many do, the infinite universe opens up to us and we become gods.
