That link was interesting. Lots of great stuff. Also showed how wrong so many people were just a few decades ago.

Glad you liked the link , i need to look over again ...

Here's another from the University of Virginia Library i just posted to Solon that includes a nice compilation of essays from the nature of Man as a biological machine to the concept of Law , Natural Law & Natural Rights ...to Love , Loyalty, Moral Sense , Optics & Vision , Pragmatism & Primitivism , & Prophecy In Jewish History to Progress in Classical Antiquity to Protest .

Essays from University of Virginia Library (great stuff)

There are & have been libraries for centuries before Jesus the Jew , centuries before Mohammed the Arab that have contained almost the same unmatched collections of essays on every subject the human mind could study & imagine but everytime human beings allowed themselves to fall under the tyranny of just One Book death & deterioration & dark ages followed . In every case this has happened and did happen under other ideological tyrannies as well we can think of that burned books too.

This was/is true of Islam who's vitality died a pitiful death for 1000yrs & Christianity the same and still true for them today as we see in the resident fundys that have no scope of the total play of human knowledge coming from all that data & input . This is where science philosophy comes in to defend the "whole" body of observations and every piece of the greater picture .

(And you can bet the farm these resident fundys would not dare to read even one of these , so confined they are to their one single Book of fantasy & illusion .)
