Carriers can't cut iPhone subsidies unless they collude with each other to do so.

If T raised its price to $300, and in a week V raised its price to $300, it wouldn't be collusion. At least not in a legal sense.

Of course they are colluding right now at $200 under the 'normal' definition of the word.
