(From my point-of-view I'd say that he is a tough but fair arguer... based on the fact that he and I have verbally jousted and bumped heads numerous times over the years, sometimes disagreeing with each other vociferously and with a great deal of passion... so I certainly can't be accused of ever sticking up for him just because we were 'pals' or anything like that. <g>)
