I allowed WLD's use of the term "assholic" because it was applied to what you said, and not to you personally.

heh heh, that is an interesting distinction. So when Win used it, it apply to my conversation. When I use it, it apply to him personally? I will encourage you to read my post again. I refer to all the posts about Apple "should do something about the in-app purchase" as assholic because the argument make no sense when you view all other form of marketing we are already found ourselves in on a day to day basis. How would you propose that we discuss the in-app purchase when every argument against it are using kids as the end user but parent not involve in that purchase decision? 8-))

> in-app purchases

I would be pissed.

It seems to me that part of the Apple app "experience" is that apps are theoretically vetted. In real life obviously they cannot completely vet every app, but an egregiously non secure app like this should be immediately shut down until the problem is fixed.

Internet security, particularly financial is 100% important. One of the reason's I use a Mac is I think that I'm more secure when I bank online. Perhaps I'm naive, but its a big selling point IMHO.
