The problem I find with your argument is this: you can also say the exact same thing about a white family, or hispanic, or chinese, or japanese, or italian, or catholic, or jewish, or irish, or (fill in the blank)... why ONLY blacks?

Let's change the word black to white (or to any other group) and it reads the exact same way... in other words, the evidence is random and not exclusive to blacks... You said, It doesn't even take a study to figure out that a white child living in a home with a drug addicted mother and no father in Cabrini Green on the south side of Chicago is more likely to become a problem than a white child living in a home with two parents and growing up in Barrington......... white, or hispanic, or chinese, or japanese, or italian, or catholic, or jewish, or irish, or (fill in the blank)... why ONLY blacks?

The world is made up of so many different groups, so why do blacks get all the special treatment at the great expense of everyone else? TIA

Before I begin discussing the complexities of causality with you, let me first ask you a question. Do you have any doubts about (a) the strong correlation between bad behavior and bad outcomes, and (b) the fact that every known metric in existence clearly shows that Blacks commit far more crime, have far more instances of STDs, engage in far more anti-social behaviors, and are far less intelligent than Whites?

Please note that this is a simple yes or no question. I am posing this query to you first to determine if you accept or deny the racial component of correlation before we venture into the complexities of causality.

Correlation is very easy to relate. One can take any set of data related to crime, AIDS, teen pregnancy, truancy, drug use or anything else that connects bad behavior to undesirable outcomes and produce a probability density function (PDF) to plot a normalized (gaussian) distribution or bell curve.

If you doubt any facet of correlation, please say so at this time and we will start there. If not, we can discuss causality.
