Perhaps your income should be reduced to your actual needs which I am certain is far less than your wants. I am sure if everyone in your income bracket were to be tax more severely on your income it would raise far more money than any tax on the rich.

That is what happens when they take the money from the wealthy. You run out of other peoples money or OPM.

That is when you become the wealthy. In the eyes of the poor, you already are very wealthy. In the eyes of those of whom never intend to work, your assets are attractive.

Who are you kidding eh? You simply are Kenneth focused and believe nothing can affect you in the relatively short time before your eventual death. The socialist principles that have guided your movement around the world show the signs of degradation and implosion. You may very well live long enough to be placed in government housing in order support the government. You may possibly be eaten by the hoards of unhappy people who won't understand you when you say you "are on their side". They just see what you have.

You truly "have" nothing because your property will belong to the mob. "Owning" is an abstract term and only applies to those of who are strong enough to take it. You will be considered old and of no use to a tribe or clan.

If I were in your shoes I would want politicians to save the economy, not spend it into oblivion. That is of course if you want to die a natural death in the comfort to which you have become accustomed.

Was obesity a big problem during the great depression?

The last thing we need is more government.....if you want to go back into history, what we need is our own version of the French's Devils Island to retire about 35% of our federal "work" force to for a starter.....If that doesn't work, exile the next 35% there and see if they get the message.

We are clearly far to top heavy on the bureaucratic side of the ledger.
