Attempts at intervention tonight would not surprise me, although
the tide seems strongly against the success of such a move. It
was attempted last week....when authorities probably had some
indication of emerging problems at Yamaichi. Their biggest
intervention of date, October 2, 1990,up 13.2%, also failed
within 6 months.

Hey, maybe they are just used to the manipulation by now. I was kind of expecting overseas markets to have a cow on this bankruptcy thing, BWDIK. :-)
