Tidegilder, I personally bought 200 frozen turkeys and delivered most of them myself in a depressed neighborhood of a nasty city. I bet he never did anything like that. When my brother was alive we used to feed the homeless from two vans in different parts of Philadelphia. Hot coffee, chocolate milk. apple juice and sandwiches. Not deductible, but we didn't care. We were republicans...we were people. You deserve many kudos!!! If all of those on this site would follow your lead, then the needy would be greatly helped with their basic food needs. However, "let's not hold our breath." Many individuals believe that it is up to the families to take care of their own, not others or the government.
