Globalstar works everywhere. <Cell phones do not work in remote areas . There was a time when I could be on the top of Phantom mountain and get a call out to my wife , since stuff went digital that is no longer possible . > In remote areas you might like SPOT findmespot.ca which is also running on the Globalstar system. Globalstar is part way through launching the new constellation, so there are still some holes from time to time.

Turn your Cyberphone into a Globalstar, via SPOT, communicator: youtube.com
