NAFTA was a plot fo the US to trade with two oil exporters: Canada and Mexico. Lots of USD paid for oil to both. US wanted them to import US products and not go buy elsewhere.

It is for the folks able to come down here to buy stuff. And they are streaming in bumper to bumper.

The NAFTA factor is only an added bonus. The trick is to find anything made in America. :) But, apparently, that's not the main attraction. I hear things are so cheap for Canadians even with the duty it's still a bargain.

No kidding everything up there is expensive. It boggles my brain.

I wonder what impact this all has on local Canadian businesses. Can't be helpful.
