The following link is an interesting chart that tries to predict the industries hit hardest by the year 2000 problem. I'm mostly in agreement [seat of the pants impression of a mainframe programmer], though I'd probably bump the insurance industry up the risk line, and the federal government way up too (having heard some stories about what goes on there).

If the finance place I work at now is any indication, the whole industry has some very involved work ahead of them. Some potential shorts perhaps.
