GLM is not insulated from market downturns...it has a low pe, a high growth rate and little debt but read the whole thread from the Strictly Drillers site to get a feeling what you are investing in and follow all the threads. Many of the posters are in the business which is invaluable.

Francis, I will email you some info on GLM that has come to my attention from a friend...it concerns GLM retiring some debt. This debt retirement MAY have some impact on the stock's price...

Best wishes,

Len

Francis,
GLM is a one of the stocks followed by me at Jack's Picks jackm.com The current selloff is, as several here have said, nothing more than a repositioning by some institutions and some rumor action.

GLM has a great one to three year outlook. They have consistantly done things behind the scene to build future earnings. This is reflected by the strong earnings increases. Those things, such as the purchase of two addtional rigs this year, are designed to keep the earnings growth.

The rumor about the sector's bull run being over, was over done. There is a continueing expansion in the offshore drilling industry, which has not peaked and most likely will not for several more years.

See ya,
Jack
