What is your point?? To compare the buying and selling of humans with a chapter of Irish discrimination?? While an important lesson part grounded in religious battles between Catholics and Protestants, hardly equivalent to slavery and determining a human to be less than human because of their race. Metaphors imply but do not create equivalence. The extreme right wing loves them however. What a horrible message to women and doctors for example, using the word "holocaust" to describe abortions. Or "theft" to be the equivalence of the wealthy paying taxes. Or I was once labelled "vermin" for supporting the Brady Bill. False equivalencies is a favorite tool aimed at brainwashed binary sheep converted to frothing hungry wolves.
