OJ,

the prem usually tells you where the immediate direction the specialists think it will go. I have seen preceeding big down day, the prem on put is 3 times higher than the prem on call with same out of money distance and vice versa. It happens on stocks too, but not as pronounced as on indices.

Hi OJ--how are you doing, my friend??

Not sure that I can comment on what you saw on those options at this point though Nancy's explanation makes sense.

Haven't you noticed how when one tries to sell calls or puts and one places a limit order, no sooner is it filled, the options seem to gather premium, at least in the short-term.

Anyway, about this market--what's your maid saying?:)

In fact, I've even wondered when you yo yo about the semi-equips, whether it is your maid who is influencing you:)

Regards
