Most of the Reg -S (all?) was given to overseas investors. I'm not sure how strict they are over there about OTC vs. NMS stocks, but the fact that many a Reg -S is done overseas should tell us something.

I was told by someone that brokers overseas have more control over their clients than here-- that it is not uncommon for them to buy and sell stock in their clients' accounts at their own discretion. These brokers, or perhaps a bank, might wish to sell a profitable position to assure they have a profitable year and thus maintain their client base.

Just keep in mind that I'm not a broker (gg). Just figured I'd throw out some possible reasons why the stock tanked suddenly a few days ago.
