There's prolly lots of similar zoned planets so that water is liquid & temps right but out of the 50bil planets some estimate just in the Milky Way maybe only 25-50mil could be earth like zoned or combinations that equivilate , tiny fraction but still quite a few . That's really really conservative ests , if you say there's 200bil stars with only 4planets ave then that's near a trillion planets just in our galaxy (not 50bil above )...but then again ests for stars go from 200-400bil in the milky way so even one planet per star is 200-400Bil planets . prolly at least one more green "Apple" or two out there for sure , just the shear size of those numbers makes Life almost certainty ...with semi intelligent life just like the resident fundies here saying "its impossible" !! ;o)

The fun-*duh-mentalist ID'ers now trying to claim the early earth atmosphere was just rampant with free oxygen , they really grasp at any straw since their whole basis for proof of anything is like a game of pick-up-stix as everything else is with them scraping arguments together . We pretty much know the earliest complex life was primitive bacteria like the sulphate reducers & "extremophiles" which they're studying in glacial antarctica now Sulfate-reducing bacteria* Message 28088730 Before these the virii perhaps , but the dumbest question by the fundies now is why aren't we seeing life evolve now from these like it had before ? Just no imaginantion as usual , think it more to the point that we still find these in existence both in the glacial ice & the volcanic seafloor vents , either way it points to how life survived such early near life ending events to pull thru .
