PE ratios in equity markets of developed countries is under 12, and the average PE ratio in emerging markets is under 10."

I clipped that infromation from a finaincial investor newsletter, so I don't know the source. I do know they pay obscene amounts of month for monthly research data.

The information that I come across that supports those PE ratios, is the PE ratios for Country ETF's . As an example, google finance reports these PE ratios on country ETF's

South Korea EWY - 7.24 PE
China FXI - 7.86 PE
Tawian EWT - 9.26
Singapore EWS - 8.95 PE
Brazil EWZ - 10.58 PE
