    I think if you look up the associations of the old term "a court Jew" ("court" in this instance meaning a royal court, not a law court) you will better understand how Friedman has come to believe and say what he believes and says. He was always ambitious and has made his home among the elite of this country. But you don't get to stay there if you tell the elite things they don't believe and don't want to hear.
