Zimmerman is a German name, which happens to be common among Jews. But most people with the name are undoubtedly not Jewish. I looked up something on the name and it's most common in PA, WI, OH, then FL.

I read George Zimmerman's family were very religious Catholics. I don't think George is Jewish at all.
