a vat of lye

Now there is where you an I may differ a little bit.

First, some background: One of my most favorite things in the world to do is to have High Tea - preferably in London at the Dorchester overlooking Hyde Park. If I had my druthers, I'd be wearing white gloves and an outfit that was mid-shin with medium heels (can't wear anything higher than that). And of course, cucumber sandwiches. And then maybe a glass of wine afterward.

I have a great distaste for the actions of the - what do you call them? - the lowlifes of the world.

When they choose to behave like animals, which in this case - clearly that pervert did - then he should be treated accordingly.

A vat of lye? Madam, you are way too kind. May I suggest some old fashioned solutions that would alleviate my feelings of revenge?

First: the rack. break every bone in his back. Then rest so he can appreciate what happened. Then take a cord to his feet and when they're raw, roast them.

That's just a start. I'm sorry Karen, but I have such strong feeling about men who abuse children that it makes me almost inhuman. I simply don't understand the way some people behave. I cannot comprehend violence. I tried to imagine myself hitting a child just once - and couldn't get beyond it. How could someone continue - how could someone keep beating a helpless child for a half hour?
